As part of its preventive maintenance program and in consideration of the operational service life of existing components, United National Oil Services (UNOS) has completed the replacement of expansion joints within the fuel farm pipeline system.

The previous expansion joints, which had been in service for an extended period, were removed and replaced with new stainless steel expansion joints to ensure improved durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term operational integrity.

This upgrade enhances the mechanical flexibility of the pipeline system, supports pressure and thermal movement absorption, and reduces the risk of leakage or structural fatigue. The replacement forms part of UNOS’s ongoing commitment to maintaining safe, reliable, and compliant fuel handling infrastructure in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory expectations.
