As part of the scheduled annual inspection program, United National Oil Services (UNOS) has completed the internal inspection of all fuel storage tanks at Najaf International Airport.
The inspection included a comprehensive internal visual assessment to verify the structural condition of the tanks and to confirm the integrity of the internal coating and metal surfaces. Particular attention was given to identifying any signs of corrosion, surface degradation, or structural irregularities. The inspection confirmed that the internal surfaces remain in sound condition, with no evidence of rust or coating failure.
In parallel, microbiological growth detection tests were conducted using samples drawn from the drain points of each tank. The samples were analyzed in accordance with standard fuel quality control procedures, and all results were found to be within acceptable limits, with no contamination detected.
These activities form part of UNOS’s ongoing commitment to maintaining fuel quality, operational safety, and full compliance with regulatory and industry inspection standards.
